Young Students at Aquila School Make a Big Impact at Stray Dogs Center

In a heartwarming display of compassion and community spirit, the students of Aquila School have shown that age is no barrier when it comes to making a difference in the lives of stray dogs.

Led by their dedicated head teacher, Julie Churm, who herself is a longtime supporter of the Stray Dogs Center, the students of the “Apple” class embarked on a campaign to raise awareness and collect valuable donations for the shelter.

The students took their mission seriously, creating eye-catching posters to share with the rest of the school and adorning donation boxes with their creative flair.

These boxes quickly filled up with an assortment of much-needed items and goodies, a testament to the generosity and empathy of the Aquila School community.

Collecting Donations for the Shelter

To the delight of the Stray Dogs Center, volunteer Sarah had the privilege of collecting the donations on their behalf and personally meeting the children behind this remarkable initiative. The students expressed their gratitude to the center for its tireless work in ensuring animal welfare.

But the story doesn’t end there. The students at Aquila School have committed to continue raising awareness for the cause close to their hearts. Their unwavering dedication and positive attitude toward animals serve as an inspiration to us all. With these young supporters leading the way, we can have faith in a brighter future for animal welfare.

Stray Dogs Center, licensed by the Umm Al Quwain Government and Federally by The Ministry of Climate, Change, and Environment, stands as a beacon of hope for neglected, abused, and abandoned stray dogs.

Their mission involves rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming, and repeating the cycle to save these vulnerable animals from neglect, starvation, abuse, traffic accidents, abandonment, and disease.

The team at Stray Dogs Center extends their heartfelt gratitude to the students and staff at Aquila School for their compassion and dedication to animal welfare. Together, they have demonstrated the profound impact that even the youngest members of society can make when they come together for a common cause.

The story of Aquila School and their partnership with the Stray Dogs Center serves as a reminder that educating and nurturing empathy in our children can create a ripple effect that will shape a more compassionate world for both animals and humans alike. It is through such initiatives that we lay the foundation for a future where animals are treated with the care and respect they deserve.

Thank you, Aquila School, for being a shining example of the positive change we can create when we start young and work together for a better world.
